Nowadays I can’t go on Facebook without seeing a video of someone making cake pops, or pop tart pops, brownie pops, cookie pops, etc. It the new craze nowadays and thought maybe I could make my own. People want to bake and make delicious treats but most don’t want to go through the long hassle of ingredients and steps to get a tasty treat.
I decided to make my own, with literally only 2 ingredients you can make delicious 2 Ingredient No Bake Cookies n’ Cream Brownie Pops! When I say just 2 ingredients I mean just 2, and they’re super cheap, and easy to make! Whether for a little party,an after school snack, or just a midnight snack for yourself.
All you will need is:
1. Cookies n’ Cream Hershey Kisses
2. Cosmic Brownies any brand that resemble the brownies in the below photo.
3. Popsicle sticks (not a needed unless you want to make them pops)
4. Sprinkles (optional and not needed for this recipe)
I bought these ingredients at the dollar store, can’t get any better than that! The steps to make these are like most dessert ‘pop’ recipes.
I chose Cosmic Brownies because I know they are soft and moist and can be easily molded.
Step 1.
Unwrap Cosmic Brownies, each personal package can make two brownie pops. Then pick off the colored candies on top. Pretty easy, you can just leave them on if you want or just take a butter knife and flick them off.
Step 2.
Roll brownies in balls.
Step 3.
Melt chocolates. There are a few different ways to do this, choose the best way that works for you. You can either melt them in a bowl in the microwave at 30 second intervals, use a double boiler, or a fondue melter. Using a double boiler or my fondue melter has been best for me.
I have never succeeded in melting chocolate using my microwave. Maybe my microwave is less cool than all the others but this method does not work for me. I used my fondue melter and just stirred the chocolates continuously until it was glossy and fully melted.
Step 4.
If you decide to use the popsicle sticks now is when they come into play. To help the brownie balls stick to the popsicle sticks, dip the tip of the popsicle stick into the melted chocolate then push the brownie ball on top.
Place them down on a cookie sheet or use an empty cereal box, pop holes in it and put the popsicle sticks in and pop them in the freezer to firm. If you don’t use popsicle stick just set the brownie balls on a cookie and sheet and still put them in the freezer to firm up.
Step 5.
After about 20 minutes take the pops out of the freezer and now it is time to cover them in chocolate. If you aren’t using the popsicle stick method just pop the brownie balls into the melted chocolate, fully cover them and let any excess chocolate drip off. Put them back on the cookie sheet and let the chocolate harden for 20 minutes in the freezer. If you are using the popsicle sticks however, hold onto the stick and dip the pop into chocolate and let any excess drip off, then stick them back into the cereal box holes or whatever you planned to use, then put those in the freezer and let them harden as well.
They shouldn’t take any longer than about 15-20 minutes to completely harden. You can decorate them with sprinkles if you like, but add the sprinkles before you put them in the freezer for the last time.
Step 6.
ENJOY!
These Cookies n’ Cream Brownie pops are chewy and chocolatey and cause no hassle! You’ll be relaxing and eating a few brownie pops in no time.
