Click and Grow Review

Growing a plant and keeping it alive long enough to see it’s beauty has never been easier with the Click and Grow! For all you forgetful lazy gardeners that can’t grow a plant like myself. Well that’s a thing of the past! My biggest issue with keeping a plant alive is never remembering to water it. With the Click and Grow that’s not a problem because you never have to water it. Yup you can grow tomatoes, peppers, cockcomb, basil, marigolds, busy lizzy, painted nettle, lemon balm, coriander and more with out watering!

So how is it possible to grow beautiful plants without ever watering them? Well the Click and Grow automatically does this for you. It puts the perfect amount of water and nutrients your plant needs and when it needs it.

Simply open your package and remove the lids and insert 2 AA batteries (not included). Then wait for the blue light and it’s set. Next fill your pot up to the fill line. Then replace the lids and place the germination lens on top of the plant cartridge. The lens will create a greenhouse effect causing better sprouting. Lastly you just keep your plant in a well lit area because it’s going to need 6 to 8 hours of sunlight a day.

The package says it should take 1 -2 weeks for sprouts to appear. Once this happens you take off the germination lens. What else is neat is that the plant has several different panel lights to alert you.

  • The Green light means everything is working as it should.
  • The Blue light is to alert you to add water.
  • The Red light means it’s time to change the batteries.
  • The Yellow light indicates and error and to check the cartridge is placed correctly in the holder.
  • The Purple light indicates an error to remove the batteries for 30 seconds and replace.

I have a Basil Click and Grow that I just set up today, and will have more pictures and updates for you as my plant grows. I think this is one of the best ideas yet. And I am just the type of person for this product because I can’t grow a plant or keep one alive. The product appears to be well made and durable. And the instructions where easy enough for my 7 year old to understand. He actually helped me set the whole thing up. Stay tuned for further updates on the progress of our Click and Grow Basil plant.
