I recently had the pleasure of reviewing the My D-Link-Enabled Wireless N Day/Night Home Network Camera (DCS-932L). This small camera comes with everything you need to add surveillance to your home or small office. Plus you can view the live video from any iPhone, iPad, or Android devices.
Set up is really simple. Just grab the instruction booklet and connect the cables, plug in the camera, run the short installation wizard and setup is complete! To view what the camera is seeing, simply log on to mydlink.com, choose your device, and start viewing.
Recently we had some issues with someone trying to break into one of our vehicles. So we set up our D-Link Cloud Camera out side just under the lip of our roof so it won’t get wet from the rain.
What I love most about our D-Link Cloud Camera is that it has built in night vision and motion detection. Which is just what we needed right now to catch whoever is trying to get into our vehicles. As you can see in the snapshot I took below is the night vision in action. When my husband walked in the camera view he almost lite right up. Not really but it almost appears that way it’s so clear in the camera view. The app also has an option to take a snapshot of whatever your viewing. So if you catch the bad guy on camera or you have you camera set up to see you kids come home from school and you want a picture just hit snapshot.
The D-Link Cloud Camera is well made and and flexible to see from any angel. Did I mention you can run it wireless as well? I can’t tell you how many times I dreaded setting up our old camera and untangling the 100ft cord. Then hooking it to the TV and VCR. It was such a pain to set up.
