Destiny The Collection Review

Destiny has been a successful franchise from Bungie, combining an MMO and FPS together to help players work together to immerse themselves in a game that’ll take them planets away.

Players who have had Destiny since year one have come a long way, defeating the Hive, Vex, Fallen and Cabal and their various leaders to ensure the universe is protected from unwanted forces wanting power.

Thirdly, in the second DLC, House of Wolves, you work with The Queen who has used the Fallen as allies, but one fallen leader, Skolas has escaped his binds in the Prison of Elders,it is up to you to defeat him and all the traitors before he takes the other houses and fully uses the Fallen against you and The Queen.

Moving forward with the third DLC, The Taken King bringing even more content for players. Remember when you defeated Crota in the Dark Below? Well Oryx, the Taken King is his father and he wasn’t too happy hearing about 6 guardians slaying his son with his very own weapon. He’s out for you.

Lastly, the fourth DLC, Rise of Iron taking it back and revisiting a much needed back story to Lord Saladin, the one Iron Lord who is there for the Iron Banner event. Allowing guardians to do bounties and compete against each other to win rewards only given during Iron Banner’s duration. We weren’t too sure about Lord Saladin, what he looked like or where he came from. But in this newest DLC, all of our questions have been answered. Long ago Lord Saladin and other Iron lords were fighting against a force called Siva. They were trying to contain and use it for themselves for good. But the Fallen got a hold of it and used it for bad. He puts his faith in us, to defeat the Fallen infected by Siva, destroy SIVA and become an Iron Lord. Adding yet another new raid, Wrath of the Machine.

The new, available game, Destiny: The Collection features every last one of these DLC’s. It’s never too late to become a guardian and defend your universe, if you are just starting out, Destiny: The Collection is the game to get. Giving you everything you need, only thing you’ll need to get yourself is the inner strength to take on the Black Heart, Atheon, Crota, Skolas, Oryx, and the Machine.

It’s a great game as a long time fan of destiny I like the fact that they give players coming from the old – gen consoles a chance to cross over to next-gen fairly easy
