Edinburgh, 1874. On the coldest day in history of the world, little jack is born with his heart frozen solid. Wasting no time, midwife Madeleine takes action and saves his life by inserting a cuckoo-clock in place of his icy heart. And now Jack will live…as long as he observes the three golden rules:

But fall in love he does, to a bespectacled young street performer, Miss Acacia, with a soul-stirring voice. Now begins a journey of escape and pursuit, from Edinburgh to Paris to Miss Acacia’s home in Andalusia.
I was so delighted to be able to review such a fantastic movie. Like every film I review I have the best movie critics help review it with me, my kids! My oldest daughter and youngest son. Just by looking at the cover my kids were so interested in the movie.
The film was great from the start, the first 5 minutes had me asking so many questions; who is that, where are they going, where are they, why, what, when, how? But then the movie caught up pretty fast. The whole story line is amazing and different from the original animated movie with princesses or talking animals. It was very unique and the animation was so dark and different but appealing. And the music was awesome! My son loved it.
Jack And The Cuckoo-Clock Heart had everything a movie needed and more, a great story line and background, an edgy plot, a viscous villain, a sweetheart for the good guy, and of course the good guy and his acquaintances.
