Malificent Review

Maleficent explores the untold story of Disney’s most iconic villain in this fun twist on the classic “Sleeping Beauty.” In an unforgiving mood after a neighboring kingdom threatens her forest, Maleficent places an irrevocable curse on the king’s newborn daughter, Princess Auroa. But as the child begins to grow up, Maleficent finds herself becoming fond of the girl. And as the conflict between the two realms intensifies, Maleficent realizes that Auroa may hold the key to peace in the land. Journey beyond the fairy tale in this soaring adventure.

I am very familiar with Disney Princesses, and this new twist and turn on the classic Sleeping Beauty movie was awesome. I actually liked it a whole lot better than Sleeping Beauty. It was different and interesting to see villains side of the story.

I wasn’t the only one that enjoying the wonderful animation and whole plot sequence. After Maleficent hit theaters around the world it grossed more than $700 million in worldwide box office.

I enjoyed every part of the movie from beginning to end. After watching the movie it actually made me feel mad for the villain, and made me start thinking about all the villains in the other Disney movies, what’s their story? How did they become who they are? Disney should definitely get to work on those!

This movie is rated PG and the run time is approximately 97 minutes.
