Pound Cake Fried Strawberries With Sweet Cream Cheese

Ingredients
  1. 1/2 of a Family size Sara Lee All Butter Pound Cake
  2. 10 to 12 medium strawberries
  3. 1 pkg. of cream cheese
  4. 1 Cup of powdered sugar (You can also use Splenda)
  5. 3 eggs
  6. 3 tsp milk
  7. 1/2 tsp vanilla
  8. Oil for frying
Instructions
  1. Begin by slicing and breaking apart pound cake into 1 inch squares.
  2. Next add the pound cake to a food processor or blender that can blend it into bread crumbs.
  3. Add eggs to the blender, 3 tsp. of milk, vanilla and blend. Batter should be thick. Add more milk if needed.
  4. Add batter to a bowl.
  5. Next prepare strawberries by removing green steams.
  6. Dip the strawberries in the batter.
  7. In an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer, heat oil to 375°. Fry strawberries, a few at a time until golden brown. Drain on paper towels and roll in powdered sugar.
Sweet Cream Cheese Dip
  1. Combine 1 pkg. of cream cheese and 1 cup of powdered sugar. Beat until smooth.
  2. Enjoy strawberries with a heaping spoonful of sweet cream cheese.
