I most recently had the chance in reviewing the new game, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze.” This is a wonderful side-scrolling action video game that of course features all four of the awesome Turtle brothers: Leonardo, Donatello, Raphal, and Michelangelo. This is a game that blends platformings, exploration and Turtle-powered martial arts brawling.
Of course the game is in the New York City setting where the Turtles live and fight crime. The Turtle brothers themselves are quite a fun treat. For they have a variety of special abilities and items up their shells. And the only way to unlock new paths in town is to use these special abilities.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Danger of the Ooze gives you a new look on New York. This bright big city has a new makeover. New York City is one sprawling, interconnected world that can be explored with a great degree of freedom. You can find new areas and uncover cool secrets. As you explore the City the Turtles will encounter dangerous threats to battle like drones, mutants, aliens, as well as Baxter Tiger Claw and Shredder.
This game specializes in a mix of 2D platforming and cool fast-paced brawler combat built on combos, counter and finishers, but open level design and the Turtles’ ninjutsu training often can offer stealth solutions to enemy encounters. Unleash epic Turtle swift shell kicks and fast ground, air and climbing attacks on any incoming menace.
As said before each Turtle has their own special abilities and items. They have their own strengths and unique stats. Each Turtle can level up and find special items and equipment throughout the big city. Just like games before players can swap between each Turtle bro whenever they need quickly.
My son just adores Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. He has many games and movies and toys and other great merchandise. He has enjoyed and beat other Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle games before. He enjoyed this one just as much, the layout was different but he got used to it and liked it. He loves the feature of being able to level up each Turtle and swap between them whenever. And he loves just exploring in games. When he isn’t doing a mission or defeating enemies he can just venture off and find cool items and secrets.
