Gas prices are always up and down, and many of us are always trying to save a few on gas. There are plenty of little tips and tricks you can do that will help you save. Watch your speed

It’s always best to follow road safety, so making sure to drive only the speed limit and not going over it will save on gas. Driving fast uses more gas. Watch your speed, drive safe and you will save on gas. 

Drive less

Only drive when you need to. The less trips you take the more gas you save. When you do leave, go out when traffic is lighter. This will avoid constant stopping and going situations. 

Car maintenance is important 

Be sure and keep up on the maintenance. Checking the engine, tires, breaks and so on. Lacking on vehicle maintenance can cause your car to work harder. Which will result in your car using more gas than usual.

Shut it off

Whether you waiting for you kids at school, waiting for family, or waiting outside to pick someone up from work. Turn your vehicle off while you wait. When you site with the car in park while it’s still running, it will cause you to use a lot of gas. Just shut it down.  

Keep tires properly inflated

Don’t use the A/C as much

As you have probably heard most of your life maybe even by your parents when you were younger. That running the A/C in the car uses up to much gas. This can be true, however only when you are city driving or in heavy traffic that causes you to do a lot of stopping and going. But if your highway driving by all means turn on the A/C. Plus with the windows up and the A/C running while on the highway cuts way down on wind resistance, thus burning less gas

Low Priced Gas

Buy gas where it’s lower. Don;t always fill it. Only buy as much as you need. Don’t spend extra if you don’t have too.
