Here we are in week 12 of my Nutrisytem Journey. It’s been one of those stressful weeks. And I did cheat twice. Which I am a little disappointed in myself. But I didn’t think that it was going to cause me not to lose any weight this week. I was reviewing some pretzels and had two small bowls during the week. After taking a closer look at the nutrition label I realized they were full of sodium and my serving was not the correct size. So when Monday came and I seen that I has lost no weight at all I knew it had to be those darn pretzels. Plus being stressed I hear can cause issues when trying to lose weight. I plan to stick to my program as usual even if I have any food reviews to do. I will only have a piece or two. I am not going to give up on the Nutrisystem Program because of a small setback. I know I can do this and will continue to lose those pounds!
I really am very proud of myself and how well I have done on the Nutrisytem Program. And love how I have so many good foods to eat and choose from. I rarely crave for anything I shouldn’t have. Some of the foods I ate this week on Nutrisystem were Chocolate Frosted Donuts , Pancakes, Fudge Graham Bar, Red Beans & Rice, Chili with Beans and Thick Crust Pizza! I never thought I would be losing weight while eating pizza and donuts. That’s what I love about Nutrisystem so much is the wonderful food!! Another great thing is that I am learning portion control and how important is it. See you next week
TIP: Always read the nutrition label. Low Fat or Low Calorie does not always mean it’s good for you or your diet. Remember to have these things in moderation and serving size.
TIP: Don’t let a small bad day ruin your diet. Stick to it and move on. It does not mean your weight loss journey has to end.

Week three of the Nutrisystem Men’s Program: This week was tough, I gained 2 pounds. So my total weight lose is now 2lbs while on the Nutrisystem Program. I am still doing my daily three as usual, but it is hard to get motivated when life throws curve balls at you. This week I overate on a few my desserts, plus I had my birthday in which I had three cupcakes, and a king size chocolate bar. I am not doing that again, I felt terrible afterwards. But I plan not to dwell on that, but to move on and continue to lose weight. One good thing about this week is that I came up with a recipe for the protein drink called “Chocolate Peanut Butter Delight”. It consists of a tablespoon of peanut butter, 1 chocolate protein drink, 4 ice cubes and 8 oz. of water. Then add it to the blender. It is amazing! I sometimes add fresh fruit to my shake, but only when it is in my plan to have fresh fruit.
The week I had was stressful, work, making plans for school shopping later in the week, disagreements with siblings makes staying focused very hard. My old habits were get stressed then eat, now that I am eating healthier that’s not me anymore. But life puts obstacles in your way, you just have to figure out a new plan of attack. Week 4 will be better, brighter, more health conscious week. This week I tried the Lasagna with meat sauce it was fantastic. It had real ricotta cheese, which was a plus. I will be ordering more of the lasagna. My new found veggies are broccoli and turnip greens fresh or steamed. ~ Shaunn
