Week 5 & 14 Of Our Nutrisystem Weight Lose Journey #NSNation

Angela’s Journey

Wow I was so sad last week because I gained weight. And I shouldn’t have been because I should have known just like I have said all along these last 3 months of my journey. Just keep up the good work on the Nutrisystem program and keep going I will lose this weight. With that being said I lost the 2 pounds I gained last week. Bringing my weight back down to 278lbs. WOOT! I also want to say thank you so much for all the wonderful comments. Without your support last week I don’t know that I would have been able to lose these 2 pounds this week. I look forward to all of your comments and always read each one. Reader Mellissa Hanks last week made a comment that made so much sense. I hear everyone say make sure your drinking enough water, but never really understood why.  So I never pushed really hard to do it. I also never knew that if you didn’t drink enough your body will retain water. So I bet I have been retaining water causing the weight gain, due to not drinking enough water. I thought about what she said and drank more water this week. So it is is true water really does help you to lose weight. I just need to add a little more each day till I reach my 8 – 8 0z glasses a day. Thank you Mellissa H.! Your advise helped so much. But it was the way you worded that just clicked with me. See you next week.

Shaunn’s Journey

This week I weighed in at 259 pounds, that’ s a 5 pound weight lose from my weigh in last week! I never thought I could lose 5 pounds in one week! All total I have lost 7 pounds while being on the Nutrisystem program. Losing this mush weight gave me a huge boost in my self esteem. The thought of going back to the way I was eating is just insane, I couldn’t believe how much food ( the wrong foods) I was consuming at once. I am glad that my family noticed it and asked me to get healthy for me and for them as well. Everyday is more motivation for me to complete my journey of a healthier me. Today for lunch I will be having the Steak and Cheese Melt, one of my favorites. The one thing I like about it, it is put together in a nice soft pocket of bread with the cheese oozing out the sides Mmmmmm! It tastes just like a real Philly Cheese Steak, but smaller. Ever since I’ve been on the Nutrisystem program my eating habits have been a lot easier to decipher what to eat ,and what to add with my meal for the day.

Shaunn – Week 5 Weight 259lbs. – Total weight lost while on the Nutrisystem D Program 7lbs.


Neck – 16.12

Arms – 16.7

Chest – 42.8

Waist – 46.3

Thighs – 28

Calf – 16.8

Angie – Week 14 weight 278lbs. – Total weight lost while on the program 12lbs. Not many changes in my measurements. I noticed my chest and waist haven’t had a change in weeks.

Calf – 17.6

    First off, great job to the both of you. Losing weight is NO easy task. I have been off and on dieting for the past year just trying to kick the extra pounds from having my daughter. It’s very difficult and can be even more frustrating when you see a slight gain. I’m happy you aren’t letting it discourage you and you are staying positive. That’s the best attitude to have! I also had no idea that if you do not drink enough water, your body will retain it. Makes a boat load of sense. I have the same issue with this! Keep up the great work and I look forward to keeping up with your journey 🙂

    Awww :O) I’m so proud I really am and you will get use to the water thing I promise. I can’t live without mine now I feel like poop if I don’t drink enough through the day. Just keep at it I know you will lose more and more! ((HUGS)) And doesn’t it suck how much easier men lose weight ;o)
