Engage in strategy board games or test your wits with video games such as one of my favorites Cooking Mahjong is like a recipe-building game but inspired by the game Mahjong Solitaire. I could play this for hours. I am still stuck on level 18. But it saves my progress so I can come back to it and I didn’t have to download anything. Just click and play. Cooking Mahjong keeps you on your toes, constantly challenging your skills and strategic thinking. As you progress through the levels, the game introduces additional dishes, adding a layer of thrill and challenge to the experience.

Hidden Food is another one I enjoy because it’s a hidden objects game. Basically, you explore the image to locate well-hidden items that are located at the top of the screen It will show you what to find and how many. But the challenge is if you can find all the objects before the clock runs out. I enjoy the thrill of the hunt as the clock counts down. I find it can be very addictive. I am still stuck on level 19.

These mental exercises not only alleviate boredom but also enhance cognitive abilities.
