Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods Review

Most recently I had the pleasure of trying, “Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods Vehicle Endor Chase Set”, and “Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods Figure Pack.” From Hasbro.

With these two great products, The Angry Birds Star Wars app comes to life! The Vehicle Endor Chase set and the Figure Pack capture all the launching and destroying fun of the original app, but in physical form. Which features your favorite Star Wars characters, who have been re-imagined as high-flying Angry Birds and villainous pigs.

In the Endor Chase set you can stack, launch and re-enact Star Wars adventures with the blocks, figures and launcher. You can put your little Luke Skywalker Bird figure in the Speeder Bike launcher and pull it back on the ramp to have it fly into the blocks. Can you try and knock over your exclusive Biker Scout Pig figure? Knock them down and build it up again then destroy it all over again! The, “Angry Birds Star Wars Telepods Figure Pack is the perfect way to start building your collection of Rebel Birds and Imperial Pigs! This Pack includes two figures which, for the first time can be teleported into the new Angry Birds Star Wars II app while using the added Telepods Base.

The two figures included are, Yoda Bird, and Obi-Wan-Kenobi Bird. There are many figures to collect, Emperor Palpatine Pig, Padawan Skywalker Bird, Mace Windu Bird, Luke Skywalker, General Grievous Pig, Sith Apprentice Skywalker Bird, StromTrooper Pig, R2-D2 Egg, Princess Leia Bird, Han Solo Bird, Boba Fet Pig, Podracer Skywalker Bird, Jar Jar Binks Bird, and C-3P0 Bird.

My youngest son not too long ago got into Star Wars a bit and was fascinated by these two packs. I let him play with them on my iPad. He thought it was so cool how his real life figured characters were transported to the iPad screen. He has played the original Angry Birds app when it first came out, but the Star Wars version was a new phenomenon for him.

He liked it so much. I would hear him make funny sound affects when he would knock down the blocks on the table or on the screen. He wants to soon get more characters to play with.

These products are great, the figures are well made, no peeling paint or anything. They aren’t rubber or squishy in any sorts. And the blocks and speeder bike launcher are plastic, along with the telepods. I even played the game myself I didn’t get too much into it, but It was pretty fun. I do recommend both these products to anyone who love Star Wars and Angry Birds. NEW App coming September 19, 2013!
