I liked hearing how Josh Duhamel felt he had grown as an actor, since the director trusted him…and I like the scene where he’s on the dock with his kids. It just seemed real.
I am curious about the fire and what caused it. I love romance stories, but I love a little excitement and action tied in.
I liked how the characters talked about how they thought so much, about how to be these characters. The girl needed to be guarded and not let anyone in, but yet she wanted to be likeable so the audience would identify with her. I guess I never thought about it before how much thought these actors put into their characters. They don’t just say the lines with emotions, it’s much more than that. The cinematography looked amazing as well! I think I would really love to see this movie!

I enjoyed hearing how the director allowed them freedom to find their character and how dedicated both Julianne and Josh were to that process.
I immediately loved the location. I like that it is a love story and that the actors were able to just the characters, or evolve the characters, as they went along. I also like that there is some suspense in the backstory–that ads some depth.
I love when Josh had his shirt off. Also, I like that this movie is a little bit of a thriller as well.

My favorite part of the clip was when Julianne said that it was tough to strike the balance between her character’s closed-down personality, because she had secrets, and yet show enough of herself that “Alex” (played by Josh Duhamel) would be interested in getting to know her. I can see how that would be a real challenge as an actor.

Wow, there are so many good looking parts! The heroine has a past she’s running away from, and the fire that starts has me intrigued. I love the scenes on the pond/lake with all the lilypads. They are beautiful.
