Green Shield Organic Review

Green Shield Organic Review & Giveaway

As I have mentioned before my family and I have been living more earth conscious and using products that are better for us and our planet. So we have been searching for earth friendly and organic products that suit us best. I recently had the pleasure of trying Green Shield Organics cleaning products from Greenology Products Inc. I tried three products and they were Green Shield Organic Kitchen Cleaner, Green Shield Organic Biodegradable Surface Wipes and Green Shield Organic Elite Care Lavender Laundry Soap. One thing I noticed right away was that all of their products are biodegradable and they also use recycled packaging whenever available.

Green Shields Organics also:

  • Never tests on animals
  • Cleaners are made with antimicrobial cleansers which kill odor causing bacteria
  • Laundry products can be used in any kind of washer including high efficiency
  • sustainable ingredients
  • Prevents growth of more odor causing bacteria
  • non-toxic
  • hypo-allergenic
  • non-volatile
  • made with the utmost concern for people, pets and our planet

So I tried the kitchen cleaner and loved the way it cleaned and didn’t leave any harsh strong smelling odors. I really disliked the strong smelling odors from cleaners because they almost always give me a headache. I didn’t like the smell of the kitchen cleaner once it dried. It was not harsh just unpleasant to me. I noticed right away a vinegar smell which didn’t bother me because I use vinegar all the time to clean. But the smell left behind is not something I would want company to smell. Besides the smell like I said it did a really great job and cleaned well.

I really love using surface wipes for my glass dining-room table, so I decided to try the Green Shield Organic Surface Wipes on the table. I think they did a fantastic job, no streaks and they easily wiped off the food my children left behind. Again I also didn’t like the scent of the surface wipes. I would compare the smell to the kitchen cleaner and it was almost the same. But again they worked very well.

A couple of months ago my eczema started getting bad again and when my eczema flares up it is all over my body, so when this happens I usually have to buy laundry soaps that are clear and free of scents and harsh chemicals. But this is the first time I tried USDA Organic Laundry Soap and I must say it is so much less irritating then any of the products I have used to wash my clothes when I have eczema flare ups. The great part about Green Shield Organic that I love the most is that I don’t have to buy an unscented laundry soap just because my eczema flared up.
