If you’re anything like me you have a passion and drive to want to be productive and do some meaningful things with your life. If your even more like me you find it very difficult to maintain a consistent stream of productivity and healthy habits in your life. I’m in the processing of developing habits that I’ve found dramatically improve my productivity, creativity, and overall attitude. These are several things I’ve begun doing recently and I’ve had some pretty good results thus far. I work several different jobs, the majority of which are not office jobs but jobs that require me to be productive and intentional on my own time. i know how difficult it is to really discipline yourself.I’m going to start at the beginning. The morning. I’ve found that the biggest augmentation to my own productivity, discipline, and creativity has been consistently waking up early in the morning. Not only does it allow me to slowly get mentally prepared for the day but my brain seems to just work better and harder in the morning. I’m able to just a lot done between the hours of 8:00am and 12:00pm. I’ve also started to develop a routine that is helping me to develop some consistently good habits. One of which is to get physical early in the AM.I go for a run when I can in the mornings before I do anything. This gives me some much needed energy for the day and also helps me to get into shape. This again is part of my morning routine that’s being developed and is helping me to consistently get a ton of things done with my day. Just the feeling of being productive is enough to motivate me throughout the day, so doing all these things is a great way for me to start the morning.I’ve also gotten into the habit of developing my creative side with music and painting. I constantly am taking piano lessons from musicians I know that are better than me. I’ve met a few people that just branched out and started taking some drum lessons in Frisco, TX This helped them to just spend their time well and expand their minds. One important thing I’ve left for last is more introspective than a morning routine. Focus more on your own character and integrity than on your platform. This is something that constantly keeps me in check with how honest I am with people and keeps my quality of work up.JD Gonzales a writer for NAMS Frisco.
