Halloween Horror Nights 26

Universal Orlando compensated our trip to Halloween Horror Nights 26 in exchange for my honest opinion. Regardless all views and opinions are 100% my own.

It’s our favorite time of year again, and we usually have a long list of fun events during the month of October. But Halloween Horror Nights is always at the top of our list, and always the best! Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando is one of the premiere Halloween events in the country. I highly recommend you skip dinner, and a movie, and go to Halloween Horror Nights. Your night will include live shows, scare zones all throughout the park, 9 haunted houses, good food, games and of course rides and other attractions. We always have the time of our life.

Halloween Horror Nights 26 at Universal Orlando here in Florida is better than dinner and a movie any day of the week. My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful night filled with many laughs, and scares that kept us on our toes!

We walk the streets of Universal Orlando as they came alive with hordes of terrifying monsters and maniacs. We explored the terrifying haunted houses, and and made our way through the scare zones where creatures lurked around every turn. There are 2 live shows, we seen one missed the other. You can also experience many of the park’s most exciting rides and attractions during this event.

Featured haunted houses this year are:

American Horror Story – Relive scene after scene of the sinister threats from Murder House, Freak Show, and Hotel in this extensive, terrifying haunted house. Click here for a preview of what await you. Walk through Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology, encountering iconic scenes and memorable characters designed to jolt you to the core. Twisted scenes from Murder House unleash the evil spirits that possess the Harmon estate, scaring you through decades of the tortured dead who previously lived there. In Freak Show, you will join a troupe of biological misfits in a sinister sideshow where they’ll be stalked by the murderous and deformed Twisty the Clown. Finally, you will succumb to the warped desires of The Countess after checking in to the haunted Hotel Cortez, conceived from the beginning as a torture chamber for its customers.

Walking Dead – Face relentless threats starting from the beginning of the series to last season’s most unforgettable moments. Walk or run in the footsteps of the show’s cast of survivors, fending off packs of flesh-hungry walkers at every turn in this house. Walk into recognizable locations, such as the hospital from Season 1 where Rick awakens to a world overrun with the dead, the unnerving home of the Governor in Season 3 and the seemingly-safe refuge, Terminus, from Season 4. Scare zones are located on the streets of Universal. So no matter where you walk there is most likely creatures lurking around the corner ready to scare you or even chase you.

We had such an amazing night making our way through all of the haunted houses. As we entered each house you could feel your heart racing with excitement and fear not knowing what was next or was it ok to turn the next corner without screaming.  I love it!

Here are some more great shots I captured as we walked around enjoying the night.

In between going to the haunted houses we made our way to the out favorite store as we always do each year, and that’s the the Candy Factory. Here you can purchase of course candy, but you also find the biggest baked treats you have ever seen! We picked up the kids favorite treats to take home for them.

This year we also took time to stop by some of Universal shopping areas to check out the new merchandise for this year. I love the Universal Stores. It’s a great time to grab beautiful collectibles, amazing shirts, mugs, key chains, and so much more.

This yea will mark our 4th time going to Halloween Horror Nights, and every year it gets better. Ever year I go I think to myself the the next I will not be scared. Every year I am wrong and every year I get scared, and scream my head off, but it so much fun! There simply is no way to escape the terror that lurks in the streets of Universal Orlando and the haunted houses unless you are in the bathroom or in between scare zones. We love it!

My husband and I always have such a wonderful time at Universal whether we are vacationing with our children or their for a Halloween or Christmas events it’s always the best time ever! We have never been disappointed. We had another wonderful year at Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Nights
