Kobo Touch e-Reader Review

The Kobo Touch e-Reader is compact and very light weight and fully equipped with a no-glare 6″ Pearl E Ink touchscreen for a print-on-paper reading experience. I am thrilled to have the chance to review the Kobo Touch free of charge from Kobo. It even comes with built-in Wi-Fi and a slot for additional memory.

Has an extra area under settings, I was surprised to see there was games like: Chess, Sketch Pad, and Sudoku and a basic web browser. Another cool feature I found in settings is called Reading Life. This allows you to track your reading activity and win awards from Kobo.

Setup was very simple and quick with the onscreen instructions that take you threw each step. Once complete your ready to start reading. Now if your use to using a Kindle or Nook as an e-reader you will find this is not as smooth however if your just using this to read books it’s fabulous. There is no audio it’s just for book reading along with some of it’s additional perks with the games and the basic web browser. When reading it looks just like a real paper back book.

This e-Reader may not be as fancy as the Kindle and the Nook, but it sure does have a lot to offer for the price. And I also feel the screen is easier on the eyes when reading for long periods of time with the no glare, and great reading experience  even in the bright sunlight.

The Kobo Touch comes with 2 GB of internal memory and the option to expand up to 32 GB with a Micro SD card, Kobo Touch can store up to 30,000 eBooks and documents, so you can keep reading as long as you want. Over all good battery life last about a month when turned off.

Kobo Touch comes with built-in Wi Fi so you can connect to your Kobo account anywhere there’s a Wi Fi hotspot.  You also have the ability to change the font 10 font styles and 24 sizes, change the line spacing, margins, and page justification. Words are crisp and sharp making for easy comfortable reading.
