Recently Telltale games has released a new popular game, “Minecraft: Story Mode- A Telltale Games Series”. This game is an all-new narrative-driven, episodic game series developed by Telltale Games in collaboration with Mojang and members of the Minecraft community. This game series is set in the world of Minecraft with a few new characters and some familiar themes, although there are new things it is still a classic Minecraft experience inspired by the popular original Minecraft game we all know and love.

My daughter has, “The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game Series.” From her words, “It is by far the best game she has ever played.” Telltale Games offers great games so I knew “Minecraft: Story Mode” was going to be good.

Minecraft is a popular independent game for PC, Playstation and Xbox,  it has grown into a very well liked game across the globe. Gamers all over have fallen in love with the pixel, block-like style of the game where you can do just about anything. Build anything, create characters, have pets, and fend off the Creepers and spiders that come out at night.

In this all new Telltale Game, “Minecraft: Story Mode” you will embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether to the End and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect, slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, you and your friends discover that something is wrong… something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.

Minecraft: Story Mode

My youngest son loves, loves, loves Minecraft. He plays it almost every weekend with his friends. He even has guide books for Minecraft and reads and studies them hard. He could talk for hours and hours about Minecraft and what he created and the crazy things him and his friends do. The awesome thing about most Telltale games is you drive the story of the game based on the decisions you make. There is different endings and paths that can be taken based on the choices you decide to make. Which makes the gaming so so fun.

Minecraft: Story Mode’ Episode 1 – ‘The Order of the Stone’ Trailer

If you’ve played and enjoyed the original Minecraft game then you will definitely enjoy this game. I don’t want to give away too much information because everyone’s experience with the game will be different. However you will come across some hard decision to make in this action pushed game. My son was so into the game, right after he finished an episode he wanted to start the next one right away. One reason why I love Telltale Games, their games are made in episodes and seasons, like a tv show. Always leaving you at the edge of your seat when you finish an episode. You’ll be hooked and wanting more.
