My Teenagers Love Posters, But They’re Destroying My Walls

Disclosure I received compensation in exchange for writing this post. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.

Ever since I was a teenager I loved having posters of my favorite bands plastered all over my bedroom walls. Just like my teenagers, they love posters, but they’re destroying my walls! The 70’s and the 80’s were the best. That’s when they had some of the most amazing bands. Some of my favorites were Motley Crue, Poison, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses, Jimi Hendrix, Bon Jovie, Queen, U2, Metallica, and Journey.

I can remember sitting around with my friends, and the stereo pumping as we used our hair brushes as microphones while we were lip signing to some of the best music in the world. Or well at least back then we thought it was the best music, and we also thought we were rock starts too! Those were the days I will never forget. To this day for teenagers it’s still very popular to hang posters all over your bedroom walls, and my teens love to do it as well. But hanging posters on your wall comes with a price. My kids use tape, duck tape, glue, and tact’s. You name it they have used just about any thing that destroys the walls, and rips up the paint. I have been trying to come up with the best way for my teens to hang posters without destroying our walls. We even tried the special sticky poster stuff, but the posters all fall down eventually. My daughter wants to make or purchase poster frames. So I did a search online and found some great frames at wholesaleposterframes but I still have not made the decision on whether we should frame them all or not. What’s the most effective way you have found to hang your teens posters? I am trying to make the best decision on this before Christmas arrives, because my teens have asked for at least 2 or 3 more posters each for the holidays. While searching for their posters online that they want for Christmas I even came across some of the Classic Rock posters I remember having as a teen. I also love the posters I found on Poster Revolution which carries some of the most popular 80’s movie posters. Wow so many memories!
