My family and I have always played board games on the weekend with the kids and have made it a tradition. So I was thrilled to find out we would be reviewing the Pavilion Light Up Chess Board Game sold by Toys R Us. We decided to wait till the evening when it was dark out to play since the board lights up, and oh what fun we had. This is a great idea and concept. I believe that it made the game even more fun because just because it lights up. The lights build an awesome atmosphere to create a truly surrounding gaming experience. Especially useful and fun for those late-night gaming sessions. This is great for kids sleepovers to play games all night long with their friends and family. We enjoy the large light up board in this electronic chess game, very unique! The chess pieces are also transparent which give it that truly awesome look when the board lights up and illuminates the light through the Chess pieces. This would make for a great gift for any chess player this Holiday Season.
