Week 8 & 17 Of Our Nutrisystem Weight Lose Journey #NSNation #spon

Angela’s Journey

Week 17 is here and I lost yet another pound! I now weigh 275lbs. and that’s a total of 15 pounds lost while on the Nutrisystem program. I started my journey to a healthier me back in February of 2012 where I weighed 316 pounds! That’s a lot of weight for someone that’s only 5 feet tall. I lost 26 pounds and then started my Nutrisystem journey on 5/11/12. Since I started this whole journey including the Nutrisystem program I have lost a total of 41lbs!! I am so proud of myself and have been learning to look at how far I have come rather than how far I still have to go.

So again this week I took one of my readers advice and tried to add more exercising in to my daily routine that didn’t really feel like I was doing more. I also found more things to do around the house and got those corners I haven’t dusted in a while. And while I was doing housework I didn’t looked at it like exercise. But the great thing about it was it really didn’t feel like I was exercising. I don’t care what it is you do laundry, vacuuming, dishes, dusting everything burns calories just get moving. I even cleaned my sons room this week and hes a teenager so I’m sure you can imagine how that looked. lol. So doing these little things along with following the Nutrisystem program I lost another pound!!

I don’t get very excited about doing my measurements every week. I find it frustrates me more and has me feeling like I haven’t really come that far. Even though I know that I have because when I started Nutrisystem the measuring tap would not even fit all the way around me. And now it does but I haven’t seen much of a change in the inches around my waist and chest. Yet I see a difference in pounds I have lost and the clothes I wear and my before and after pictures. So when I see the inches haven’t moved I am so confused on why this is.

Ok so enough with that. I bought a new blender this week and hope to share some great recipes using the veggies and fruit I have to incorporate in my diet while on the program. See you next week.

Week 17

Week 1

Shaunn’s Journey

Week 8 of Nutrisystem program: This week I weighed in at 261 pounds that is 1 pound weight loss from last week. Bringing my total weight loss while on Nutrisystem program to 5 pounds. I am still trucking along to be a slimmer looking me, the week before last week I was ashamed of myself for not doing any thing consisting of the Daily Three. This past week me and my 7 yr. old ran around the front yard playing football, which for me was a good cardio workout. Nobody knows better than my wife how much I want to get my body healthier, and my eating habits down to a science. When I am no longer on the program it is up to me, and my support team to make healthy choices to continue to lose weight and exercise on a regular basis. A couple of days ago I recently was reading a copy of bodybuilding.com magazine and I was jealous to the fact in some of the articles there were men almost 60 in great shape, and I thought that should be me. So I did some research on what they were taking and the products these men were consuming I don’t think I will ever put those kind of ingredients in my body, to me the Nutrisystem program is easy to follow and sets you up for success. Follow your daily planner, drink water and do your daily three and you are set. Next week I will be incorporating more of just everyday activities in my daily three.

You are both doing great! It is amazing how far you have come Angie. You are an inspiration to a lot of people. I like how you are both trying to get the Daily 3 in and think that’s important. Can’t wait to read next week’s post

  2. Keep going Angie! Your weight is headed in the right direction which is down 🙂 Just remember to keep moving, get your heart rate up at points. I like to jog in place or do jumping jacks while I watch TV in the evening, rather than just laying on the couch. That way I get a lil exercise in, but also get to watch my favorite shows.

  3. KEEP PUSHING THRU ! 😀 High five !

  4. Angie, You are doing so well. It is one of the hardest things to do. Trust me I am in the same boat you are. It is hard! Keep plugging away and it will come off. Do you have an exercise machine that you enjoy using? I think I would love to spin fi I had one! If you have to walk someplace, go the longer route. You are doing great! Keep up the good work and look forward to you next update. Good luck Shauun!!

Thank you very much. Yes I use the treadmill a lot and resistant bands as well. I am working hard. Thank you so much for your support!

I think you are doing a great job. It is much more healthy to lose the weight slowly. And while you are doing housework or even sitting down you can excercise. Look at exercises that you know how to do and see if you can do a variation of that exercise while you are doing something else. Sitting down, you can practice holding your tummy in for as long as you can and repeat it often, for example. My daughter lost a lot of weight and her feet and knees quit hurting, she had more energy and just felt better about herself. It will take a while, but the journey will be worth it.

  6. Very inspiring! Keep it up! I have a hard time drinking so much water, but I will try,

Just remember it doesn’t matter how far your journey has taken you as long as you are going in the right direction. You ARE doing something right because you are losing. Not as fast as you may like sure but as you lose more and gain the energy you lack to do more exercise and give up that last bite it will come faster and faster. And yes I must say it WATER WATER WATER! How are you doing on that?? remember you need AT LEAST 64 ounces of plain water. and yes you will have to pee ALOT at first(maybe all the walking causes weight loss not the water hehe) But you NEED NEED NEED that water whether you like it or not. Warm, cold, however you like it. Green tea is also awesome for weight loss. 2 cup PLAIN green tea in the am and 2 in the PM. Remember also watch your condiments! 1 tablespoon of ranch can add up FAST!

I am still doing good with the water. Not great but good. I get to about 6 8oz glasses and I am so bloated threw out the day. I had to stop drinking before bed because I was getting up so much I wasn’t sleeping well. Now I am just trying to fit it in through the day. I also found out this week I have not been eating enough calories. I was reaching 900 some days when my calorie intake should be about 1200. So I have to work on that. I think I was so full off the water. lol I think I have some green tea and that sounds like a great idea. I will surely add that to my diet. I’m not big on condiments except well hot sauce but I only eat that on crab. A little of that stuff goes a long way. Thank you again for your weekly support it really does help me.

      • Water can be such a struggle for everyone. Are you eating 5 times a day? I have problems not eating haha but i try to make breakfast 400, snacks 100, and lunch and dinner 300
