Dinosaur Train: Ride the Holiday Train Review & Giveaway

I recently had the pleasure of reviewing this beautiful book called Dinosaur Train: Ride the Holiday Train which is a lift-the-flap board book, from Reader’s Digest Children’s Publishing company. In this book Buddy and his friends are so very excited because their favorite holiday is right around the corner and that is Winter Solstice! In this book the kids travel on the holiday train all the  way to thee North Pole where the Pteranodon family has the chance to build snow dinosaurs, play a prehistoric game of ice hockey, and meet some new friends.  This book will help your child with their secondary learning activities which reinforce learning concepts including over 45 flaps the hide these super cute fun surprises that kids will want to find again and again! What a great book for hours of laughter and learning. I was very pleased with this book and the qulity and the beautiful illustrations. Big bold, bright pictures and colors. I am not one for books on a tablet. I prefer a good old book with my child and we sit down and can enjoy together. And this book will give you just that.

The next product I reviewed which is great to go along with the book is DINOSAUR TRAIN: DINOSAURS A TO Z DVD – Featuring Bonus Holiday Episode Travel on the Dinosaur Train with Buddy, Mom, and Tiny to gather all the dinosaurs in the “Dinosaurs A to Z'” song for a picnic at Troodon Town! In this DVD your child will join the Pteranodon family once again on a fun trip to reunite with some dinosaurs they’ve met before, where they are introduced to new species, and learn about the classification of all the 26 dinosaurs on the train! This DVD also includes
Bonus Holiday Episode: Solstice Time – While visiting the North Pole, where the Conductor suggests that the family stop off at Aurora Borealis Station on a HUGE frozen lake to see the Aurora Borealis, where the Northern Troodons celebrate a “Festival of Lights.” As the kids wait for night to fall and view the Aurora Borealis, they put together an ice-skating show to entertain Mom and Dad. Everyone joins in to sing “Solstice Time is Here” and skate under the lights!
