Lego Super Heroes Set 76001 Review

LEGO Super Heroes Set 76001 The Bat vs. Bane Tumbler Chase is an amazing DC Universe set based from the Christopher Nolan movie The Dark Knight Rises. This set is appropriate for ages 6-12. Includes a Comic Book, Free downloadable Batman Video Game, 3 mini figures, stickers, 368 LEGO pieces and 2 building booklets. The mini figures included are Batman, Bane and Commissioner Gordon.

 Each mini figure is highly detailed and has two face expressions. Batman comes with his cape and Bane has all the details including his black glove and mask from the The Dark Knight Rises movie. It’s nice to see LEGO put a Commissioner in this set. The Commissioner is dressed in a Swat suit with details on the front and back and he carries a pistol.

Then we have Bane’s Tumbler which has 2 flick missiles on the back, stickers on the top of the tumbler and sides. The tumbler has  a  camouflage look to it with tan and cream colored LEGOS.  Flames that come out of the back and large tires in the rear and medium ones in the front. Seats one mini figure which is inserted from the top with a roof that opens and closes as the door. The Tumbler has 42 pages of building.

You will also get 2 yellow street barriers with stickers that include bullet holes. Each sticker looks slightly different.

And last we have the Bat which has movable wings set on hinges and the arms or you could call them engines which are also poseable. Which also have moving propellers on each and flick missiles. The tail also has hinges and flaps that are movable as well. Lots of stickers for more detail including the Batman emblem. Plus a cockpit which seats of course Batman and a second mini figure behind him. Another sticker in the cockpit which shows the controls for the Bat. Also a string that hangs from the Bat so it can carry mini figures away from the crime scene. This is a fun piece from LEGO that is built sturdy and can with stand some rough play and won’t fall apart easily. The Bat and street barriers have 52 pages of building.

This is a very nice DC Universe Super Heroes LEGO set. That is packed with adventure just waiting to happen. Plenty of scenes to imagine up and act out.
