My 7yr Old’s Ideas For Fun Fall Crafts Using Alpha-Bits Cereal

I was compensated in exchange for sharing these fun fall crafts with you today. This post was also sponsored by Mom If Forward and Alpha-Bits Cereal. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I personally believe will be good for my readers.

With the holidays just around the corner my kids love to make things during the fall. Our favorite thing to do during this time is crafts with the fallen leaves. This time we decided to use Alpha-Bits Cereal along with leaves and other around the house items to make some cute art work!

Since my kids were little they loved playing with food, and Alpha-Bits cereal makes breakfast and snack time educational so why not craft time too! Plus with the letter shaped pieces my little guy can become more familiar with the letters of the
alphabet. Not only that, they are also fun to eat. And they are nutritious, and delicious. Plus they contain 20g of whole  grains and 12 essential vitamins and nutrients per 30g serving. Let’s not forget the nutrients they have to support healthy brain development, like zinc and iron too!

Now on with this fun craft idea my 7 year old came up with all on his own! Shaunn loves to draw and make pictures for me to hang on the refrigerator. So Shaunn’s idea was to make pictures with leave impression and create a tree out of Alpha-Bits. So we did a little of all.

Here is what you will need:

  1. Glue
  2. Small pieces of colored construction paper such as (4×6) in fall colors
  3. Paper Plate
  4. Crayons
  5. Scissors optional if need to cut the paper smaller
  6. Leaves smaller that the paper you will be using

First lay the paper over you selected leaves. Next take a crayon and with firm pressure color over the paper to show the leave impression. Last make a boarder with the Alpha-Bits Cereal.

Instead of a boarder you can also glue letters in to fall words like fall, leaves, seasons and more. Just get creative with it.

And for the tree just trace a tree in your paper with a crayon. Next outline it with glue. Lastly outlive the glue with Alpha-Bits Cereal.

Involving your child in making snacks and fun recipes with Alpha-Bits can be a bonding experience, as well as a learning moment!
