I most recently had the chance in reviewing a DVD from SHOUT! Factory. What I reviewed was the Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation-Turtle Power! Which awesomely included Power Rangers: In Space Cross Over Episodes: “Save Our Ship” and “ Shell Shocked.”
Everyone’s favorite turtles-Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo, along with the newest addition to the family, Venus Di Milo-are back! They’re on a mission to rescue Master Splinter from the evil Dragon Lord and his horde while staying clear of other new foes like the Vampiress Vam-Mi, the Yeti Silver and the big-game Hunter Simon Bonesteel who are all out for their shells!
My son is absolutely obsessed with the Ninja Turtles, his favorite turtle is Mikey (Michelangelo). He loves pizza and playing video games just like he does! He thinks these live action Ninja Turtle DVD’s are just awesome. It makes it feel like they are actually real and interacting with real people! He is always rooting for the turtles when they have to fight against these crazy enemies to save a fellow friend, or better yet, Master Splinter!
The Power Rangers battle the dreaded villain Divatox at rapid speed when word reaches the remaining Power Rangers that their founder mentor Zordon has been captured by a coalition of villains, the remaining Rangers journey into space abroad NASADA space shuttle in the ho[es of rescuing him. Fighting a union of all their past villains, led by the monstrous Dark Specter and his trusted Astronema, the Ranger are in for the biggest fight the universe has ever seen!
It was cool that two awesome episodes from the Power Rangers: In Space were included. My son hasn’t been really introduced to the power rangers, but he did enjoy the included episodes. He loved the cool fighting and explosives!
The rest of the night he was jumping around and doing cool fighting moves like he was fighting off foes!
Oh how cool that the Power Rangers are included. My son loves both the Ninja Turtles and Power Rangers so he would be real excited over this.
