I recently had the opportunity in reviewing Spin Master’s Air Hogs . The Air Hogs Vectron Wave is a hovering UFO without a remote control, because you have it! Your hand is the controller! You can command it’s flight with a wave of your hand. Not only your hand you can even use your feet, knees and shoulders! The Air Hogs Vectron Wave comes with catch sticks to toss the Vectron Wave around with a friend.
How does the Vectron Wave do what it does? Air Hogs Vectron Wave UFO uses Smart Wave Control altitude-sensing technology to rise up and glide above obstacles.
In celebration of Spin Master’s 15th Anniversary, they’ve sent the Vectron Wave into the stratosphere at an altitude of 100,259 feet. They launched it in California’s Mojave Desert. It require months of planning in order to execute a safe and successful journey. Well, was a great success and they are sharing thee extraordinary video footage of the Vectron Wave’s jounrney! Not only that, they are even launching an awesome contest where a family of of four can win a four-day-trip to Space Camp in Huntsville Alabama!
All three of my kids played with the Air Hogs Vectron Wave UFO. They loved it and thought it was the coolest thing! They had a very fun time just waving their hand and seeing the UFO follow it, my sons tried to be experts and were already using their feet and knees. The Air Hogs Vectron Wave is made out of a durable foam body. It is great to play with friends and family, this is the best-out-of-this-world object that only you can control! What I think is cool is toys like this if they did come with a control, what if the control broke or was lost? With the Air Hogs Vectron Wave since it doesn’t have an actual remote control there is nothing to lose or break! Because the control is literally your hands! Awesome!
It requires 6 AA batteries that are not included and it has a charging base for easy charging!
