My Nutrisystem Journey to a Healthier Me #NSNation Week 1 Complete

 I just completed my first week on the Nutrisystem Program!

My first week has went very well. I would say the toughest part this week was making sure to drink 8 glasses of water a day. But it becomes easier each day. I didn’t get any exercising in for my first week,  and I am disappointed in myself for that. But I am making a promise to myself that I will try harder this week and start off small and work my way into exercising again. I know I can do it!

I did not lose any weight this week but it’s ok. I stuck to the Nutrisystem program and I know it’s sure to work. Not giving up!

I really enjoyed most of the food on the program. One of my favorite things I ate this week for dinner on the Nutrisystem Program Beef With Rice & Beans. And the one thing I disliked but now I love was the Rice and Beans. I didn’t like the flavor so I added chilli powder, garlic and cumin and now I love it! Yes you  can add your own herbs and spices! They even give you dessert for every night. I do not however eat the dessert every night because I am not much of a dessert person. Plus I believe dessert is ok but only in moderation and portion control. I will discuss more about the great foods Nutrisystem has to offer next week.

The Nutrisystem Program is not like any other diet I have ever been on. I assumed I would not be eating much. But I was completely wrong. Your eating so much, its hard to make sure to eat everything your suppose to. And your eating real food that taste great! Such as blueberry muffins, scones, bagels, hamburgers, chocolates, mash potatoes and more. I have not once been hungry. TIP: I still do get cravings but I find something to do to get my mind off it. I find that cravings come on the most when I am watching TV.  So I bring my water bottle and a stick of gum when ever I plan to watch a TV show to help keep the cravings away. Or a small bowl of fresh fruit or veggies. TIP: Chop up your fruits and veggies after buying them and put them in a container in the fridge. I find that your more likely to grab whats already prepared for you.

  Ok so here are my first photos I promised. I must say it was tough to post these. I will post my measurements as soon as I buy measuring tape.
