Holiday Safety Tips on the Road

Traveling to holiday gatherings to spend time with family and friends is something many of us look forward to all year long. If you are going to be traveling by car whether you will be alone or with your family it’s important that you are prepared. With busy traffic and dangerous weather we must think ahead.  
Did you know that between the holidays Thanksgiving and New Year’s is the busiest long-distance-travel time of the year on the road? It’s estimated that many drivers travel as much as 50 miles or more away from the town they live in. This is more than any other time during the year. Unfortunately, this makes for one of the most dangerous times to be on the road. With that being said if you plan to be travel during this time of year below are some safety tips you can use while planning your trip.
